A Memorial Day Reflection

Memorial Day is supposed to be more than a day off. It is a time when we think about those who have given of themselves so that can live free. While I honor the legacy of those who have served in the armed forces, the roster of those who have sacrificed is much longer than just those who died in military battles. As I spent a day relaxing with friends, I got an opportunity to think more deeply about what this moment requires of us.
